The book will come out on March 4, 2025.
She has written books like Purple Hibiscus, which won the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, and Half of a Yellow Sun, which won the Orange Prize for Fiction (now called the Women’s Prize for Fiction). This prize is considered one of the most important awards for novels written by women. Her 2013 book, Americanah, won the National Book Critics Circle Award in the US, which is a highly respected prize chosen by professional book critics. It was also listed as one of the Top 10 Best Books of the Year by the New York Times.
In 2023, she released a children’s book called Mama’s Sleeping Scarf using the name Nwa Grace-James.
